Haha, because I can't do real traditional so I make digital look traditional on purpose
I use custom brush in SAI and watercolor paper texture to give it that traditional look

It is fanart of Chihaya from Hanakisou
In the story he is the first savior of the world, he is the only one who can kill "Kuroto", the person with opposite role of him (to end the world). As long as Kuroto lives, snow will continue to fall and bury the world.
As long as the world continues and people continue commit sin of killing one another, their souls continue to reincarnate to decide the end.
In the current storyline incarnation, Chihaya now known as Hanashirou develops feelings for Kuroto and despises the world for their cruel fate. Kuroto on the other hand loves the world and is always trying to convince Hanashirou to kill him. Their feelings are opposite of their roles

I think you might have heard this a lot already - observe and practice, no easy way around it
Look at tutorials to see how others go about it, read lots of manga XD
It will take time but you can only get better. Everyone is different in the speed they learn so try not to compare and go at your own pace XD
