A little background information; Lykseth and Feryn are twins, so they both had a right to become jarl (leader) of Highmere, but Feryn gave her birthright to her brother!

Hm, now that I come to think about it, I'm rather confused. If Echon isn't a bastard any more (I'm aware he used to be, and it would have made sense although I, for one, am glad for the change as it would have made the family far too close to the Starks), why is Lykeseth the heir to Highmere? In medieval times, the first born son would always be the heir no matter how many times the lord remarries. What's the logic here?

because it's my world and story. Feryn and Lykseth are twins (so is Ashkil and Kaily) but Feryn didnt want to be jarl so she let Lykseth take the title. In my world the title goes to the Highborn, and since nobody knows who Echon's mum is nobody can prove he was Highborn (born from two Jarls)
(And yeah I'm aware it used to be close, it was all unintentional but thats why I wanted to change things when I became aware of it >.> )
