This was an attempt to get ahead of Microsoft Next. Considering the possibilities, common sense and the "normal"

You got it very close, the start menu is nearly the same in windows 10! It'll look very similar once they've updated all the icons ect Good job!
I hate what windows 8 looks like, its half windows 7 and half modern ui, it looks awful. Lets hope M$ do something about it

Well shit, you weren't too far off. Running Windows 10 right now, once they get ALL the icons updated, you're concept will be pretty close!

I hope Microsoft stops with this obsession of turning every PC into a smartphone. I would hope that with 9, we get back to an actual desktop with menues rather than a bunch of tiles with a Cortana lady ready and eager to see which one gets clicked (touched). Nice work on this, BTW.

I like it! Except for the cursor, of course. I would rather have it the one in Windows 8. The cursor just makes me feel that I'm in a game for some reason.

dont worry, I try to simplify like Microsoft every part of OS. Therefore the minimal cursor. If you see a game arrow, depends of person mind, some can even see a cake xd or some. But I think the right thing is to choose what most. And you're right, 'll change the cursor, not for you, also for me, a little change xd. Watch it in 30min
And "they get you to redesign".. a dream man.. maybe it's what I'm looking for.. but they find me, I see it very difficult! Hopefully!
