Just testing out my latest derwent coloursoft acquisition: Prussian Blue (which I love) and Loganberry (I don't know about this one yet... it is almost too brown for me).This work started off as a sketch of the King but then I was thinking how he would look as a teenager. I started doodling and my pencil flew from there. One of my quicker sketches definitely. I want the King to look domineering and bloodthirsty and heartless (I love irony) as an adult and I wanted to show a cold persona that would eventually drive him to the bloodthirstiness (word?) I don't know if I accomplished that. I'll have to work harder and may be not be so quick next time.

I'm so glad you think so! I look back at some of my old pencil color works and almost laugh. Its weird that I've improved so much in such a short period of time
