By popular request of many users, here is the crossover with Turning Red!
I must admit that this is another movie that I really appreciated: it very faithfully tells the typical life of a pre-adolescent (the group of friends, the passion for a musical band, the first love crushes) with the usual imaginative addition of Disney & Pixar: the transformation of the protagonist Mei into a giant Red Panda made everything much more magical, without however straying too far from reality.
The similarity with Luca and Alberto is evident: both must initally keep their transformation hidden (but which will be accepted in the end), with the only difference that the two boys are base sea monsters who become human, on the contrary Mei is base human who transform into a Red Panda due to a "curse".
To be honest... I would like to discover the origin of sea monsters and why take on a human appearence once dry. It wasn't explained in the movie...
