thanks! the cranes were actually on my piano bench. they have these thingies to hold the seat down, that's what the dent is. i needed a black background and my piano was the only thing around that was black, haha.

I love that it's in black and white, it reminds me of the sad story of "A Thousand Paper Cranes". It's dramatic, but in a way I think if you haven't read the book or have a humourus personality the photo could be funny too. To me it's dramatic and very impressive

my piano bench.... haha... i had imagined white cranes on a black background, and the only black chair around was my piano bench. haha... the background is actually the piano.

Great work with the depth of field. I like the way the first crane isn't even completely sharp, but one can still be able to distinguish them all.

nope, i used some program that came with my scanner called photostudio... the fonts in there are the same as the fonts in microsoft word and whatever else.
