Description This was supposed to be my physics photo assignment (to capture something relevant to the speed of light or reflection, refraction, etc). We still don't have the criteria, but I was so excited to get started I already have three different assignments I could hand in. *coughs* I'm not a keener.

Anyway, my idea was to capture a rainbow made from this crystal piano, but I took a fluke shot where three colours of light came off the end of the piano. Unfortunately the piano was out of focus, so I kept playing around with it and found I could make a rainbow! Teeheehee...

hahaha, any idea what i can say for the part where i actually have to connect it to physics?

Say something like you were using the different angles of diffraction for the different frequencies to catch the different colors.

Very nice! Brilliant idea I think the glass piano is just as cool as the colors to be honest lol, i've never seen a glass piano!

I think you need to add a purple one to finish it off.

i couldn't find purple... it's the hardest colour in the spectrum to find =.=

Have you tried to change the hue in photoshop? If you made a copy of one of the other images and just used the light you could probably get purple out of that.

i know, but that would defeat the purpose of my physics project... i guess i could for another copy on dA, maybe if i have time in the future
