Winter companion piece to cidaq.deviantart.com/art/Pear-… .I seem to have developed an obsession with little old (presumably, since their faces are usually hidden) ladies in kerchiefs. I'm sure that depth psychology does have a good explanation for this, but I don't want to know it.

Aw, cute! I love the idea of it as the companion piece to Pear Tree; it looks really cool, like the piece became animate and the seasons within the painting matched the seasons in the world without.
And about the obsession; there's nothing wrong with you, as artists go through these things constantly. Remember Picasso's blue period and Pollock's drippy spatter phase. And you as a wonderful artist yourself have your cute little old lady stage. And with me, as a writer, I'm going through an Old West phase in my work, closely followed by Victorian England works. Haha!
