Turning over, you groaned loudly. Covering your head with a pillow, the cries continued to increase in volume. Turning once more, you couldn't stand the wails any longer. Hesitating for a moment,you gave up and your feet met the cold floor. Flicking the switch, light flooded in and your other occupant started cursing.

Ignoring the Prussian, you grabbed the nearest jacket. "_________, are you trying to kill me? I need sleep..." Gilbert groaned, his ruby eyes glaring at you.

"I don't care how much you want to sleep, your son's crying." The irresponsible Prussian muttered something in a low voice, before pulling himself out of bed. Stretching, he headed towards the other bedroom.

The wails continued, before lowering in volume. You flung your tired body on the bed, relaxing your tired muscles. Ever since your son was born, the wish for a decent rest was ruined. Gilbert had said something about babies needing independence, and refused to allow the newborn baby to sleep in the same room.

How wonderful had it turned out. The wails continued every night, only stopping when you held him. Gilbert would glare at the offending infant, not at all amused when he saw his own eyes brimming with tears mirrored in his son's face. "What a weak baby. Even Ludwig wasn't that much of a crybaby."

Turning slightly to your side, you stopped your musing when Gilbert entered the bedroom. "That damn brat, he cries every single night. Hey, _________. We need to make him into a man."

Slightly amused, you waited till the lights were off before teasing him. "At this age? You must be out of your mind. He should be sleeping here, but a Prussian started objecting."

"_________, if you don't train him now, he'll turn out to be a second Feliciano. Studies show that a person's independence starts from the second he is born, and training him to be a wuss won't work." Gilbert flicked your forehead gently, watching you grimace with a smirk.

With a pull, you found your body pressed against his. Face burning, your eyes shot to his face. "We haven't had time to ourselves since he was born, give me a few minutes to hug you." Watching him relax, you hugged him close to you. Ever since your son was born, both you and Gilbert's work seem to multiply.

Being drained every night from work and cries from the infant, you barely had time to be affectionate with your husband. Moments like these were rare, and you enjoyed every second of it. Musings broken when Gilbert raised your chin, your lips were sealed to his softly.

The soft kisses got more and more affectionate, you trying not to respond to his teasing. Lips pressing against yours more and more roughly, you felt that it was all worth it. Pulling back, his ruby eyes stared at your face lovingly. "_________..."

Before you could continue, a loud wail broke the atmosphere between the both of you. "That's it!" Gilbert pulled away from you, storming towards the other bedroom. "I don't care what you say, that brat's going to be shipped to Ludwig's house the next day!"
