Did you know there’s an alarming number of kids in Pakistan with HIV? Many infected kids around the world are less than ten years old. The surge in HIV was due to sharing contaminated needles.This portrait was inspired by a news article I read this month which can be found here: New York Times Article
Although the girl in the portrait is from Afghanistan and not Pakistan, I felt it captured the mood the best. If anyone knows who the photographer is for the original photo, please let me know!
