A solar sound is a sound wave found inside the sun.
The density is so high you can hardly hear it.
Solar can hear sound waves detected from miles away.
In a way, her name makes sense xD

I'd like more bat ponies, but I won't push it. "Bats!" was too fantastic of an episode to leave me unsatisfied.

That episode was very good in the whole bat part, but Fluttershy imposing her ways on applejack and acting, well...a bit like a child wasn't my thing. Actually I think she got worse later on in the episode with the Ponytones. Season 4 is slowly getting on my nerves.

Love how you brought out this girl's personality! It's subtle, but with her eyes and the position of her wings you can really see it. >w< Since bat ponies became popular, they've always been viewed as darker in personality, but with the way you've drawn Solar Sound it looks as if she's just being herself and enjoying her bat's company- who is adorable, by the freakin' way. XD
Simple and sweet, the way you've drawn her gives her more opportunities to be more than the average bat-pony. Awesome work as always, hun!

That's just it, people assume bat ponies are dark and actually they are, since well...life conditions also made them that way, but seeing such a playfull one once in a while is a nice break from the steretype

Well, true, in appearance they are, but they needn't have those dark personalities! They can be total Fluttershy's even if they look a certain way, and that's what you've done with this little one. :3
I love bat ponies, they look so neat and being the ponies that serve Princess Luna, that's even better. >w< I'm not so keen on adopting ponies, although I can see that having a bat character would be really neat. :3

I like the fact that despite it being cute, it doesn't give me diatebes anymore
Anyhow, what is there to say about the work. The color selection is wonderful, the expression as always very intriguing ( :3 ), and the pet bat just adorable. You are right, this would be quite a formidable pet after all 
Just one curious question. What does her cutie mark represent ?
PS: On a small personal note, I am glad that even through trades, you get to do characters exiting your cute comfort zone. You are good at it, and even like that they look cute enough. Keep it up, experiment )))
