No, not a vampire.
As you all probably know, I draw a lot of different versions of the Les Mis characters, and my Courfeyrac is usually a slightly more, um, (there's no polite way to put this) traditionally "modern-looking" hot guy. But honestly, V. Hugo really has a different sense of hot than most 21st century people do (remember Enjolras' severe Grecian profile and sky-high forehead......?). I thought I'd try a Courfeyrac who was "round," in V. Hugo's words, and also quite dapper in a nice 1820s fashion plate way. And I ended up with this dandy. So dandyish that he needed some sparkles around him.
Don't think I'll be changing my usual character design, but I do rather like him this way, gotta admit. XD

For some reason I really adore his eyebrows. Is that weird??? To be honest, he kind of looks Italian in this, not that that's a bad thing.

No, it isn't weird. :3 Yeah, he has got a bit of that Mediterranean thing going on, but that's what you get when you get a bunch of French guys from the Midi. Maybe he's a CΓ΄te d'Azur boy or something--I feel like half the people living there back then were Piedmont Italians from just across the border anyway.
