This is Kiwi. He is available for adoption through Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue. He was born to adoptables Zorro and Muffin (oops!) in October. Photo taken November 10 with Olympus C-765UZ.Wow! Just 15 hours after I posted this it beat out my previously most favorited photo. That's the power of baby bunny cuteness for you.
Now how about some serious comments? What do you think of the composition, lighting, etc.?Thanks for all the favorites!!!
Update: Kiwi was adopted on January 20, 2008. Yay!

The lighting is definitively good (whites not overexposed) and I especially like the clarity on details (as for the bow texture). so technically, very good as well

The "problem" with the composition is that it underlines Kiwi's cuteness even more... He looks precious in that little wreath!

She is so unbelievably precious! I would love to have a bunny but I'm always afraid I'm too busy/lazy to be able to take care of an animal.

The image seems a little dark and desaturated to me, although you actually managed a perfect exposure on her fur, which is impressive.
I'm not a fan of central composition, and though this doesn't feel off to me, it might have benefited from some creative cropping.
Nice use of lighting and pose to bring out the cute factor, particularly on her face and expression.

Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it. Yeah, it was getting late and a bit dark outside. I increased the brightness/contrast. I'm always afraid I'll overdo it so I just did a tiny bit. I don't usually go for central composition either but it seemed to fit with the roundness of the bunny and the wreath.

about the composition: I like it, though maybe taking the pic at eyelevel of Kiwi would give you more contact with the bunny. because right now, she looks a bit like an ornament, instead of a bunny having a good time in the middle of christmasstuff

Great shot!!! What an adorable "model" as well. I love animals, especially sweet little bunnies such as Kiwi here. What an adorable name for an adorable bunny. Did you set her in the festive basket? If so, what a cute idea. She fits perfectly. You must have an awesome camera. I feel like I should be able to touch my screen and feel the textures. Gosh I really want a bunny now.

Yes I put her in it. We took her away from mom for a health check (she weighed 13 oz) and quick photo shoot. She was the perfect fit for that little wreath. She snuggled down in it like a nest. My camera isn't that awesome, I'm just good at working the settings.

Oh, serious comment? Okay...
I love the way the round table decoration compliments the 'roundness' of the bunny. I think the only thing I would have done differently is put the arrangement on a red cloth, or added some bright baubles to the spruce arrangement to give the colour scheme a bit of ' punch'.
