Description Art class project!

I was planning to upload all my art class poops into scraps at the end of the year, but I like this one too much to let it linger in my drawer.

The assingment is something called an "exquisite corpse." It began as a game played by surrealist artists in which they take a peice of paper and cut it into three (or more) parts, with connector points on them so all the drawings line up.

Without looking at eachother's paper, each artist draws something completely random. One person has the head, one the torso, one the bottom. At the end, you put all three together and marvel at the magnificent eldritch art your efforts produced.

This assignment deviated from the norm in that one artist did all three parts, but we were still required to use completely random images. Mine came out the happy cat with skele-bot torso on top of demon Ronald McDonald feet. All in stippling!

This was SO much fun, I will definitely be doing more stippling in the near future.

I used to do that with my cousins all the time! Of course, we didn't put half as much effort as you did here, so it turned out horrid, but it was still tons of fun ^^ Great job! Very creative

It's a fun game to play. I can't wait until we get to mix and match in class.

I love this; it's very Alice in Wonderland, what with the grinning cat and the Tweedledee-looking feet! At first I thought it was supposed to be some sort of Alice interpretation.

But great pieces, all three, and fantastic together. I also like the stippling, and I think your robot is magnificently mechanical/skeletal, and I like the tentacle and claws on the bottom.

Thanks so much. It was originally going to be a Wonderland-themed peice, but my art teacher informed me that themes aren't "random enough." All he let me do was the cat, and I had to clog it with a fish!
