Time for some ooold pics - I had these scanned not long before my computer crashed, and of course lost them all XP Now I've re-scanned most of them, so here you go ^^This was a series inspired by Talen swanning around on /co/ on 4chan, and eventually asking me what I would do if I had control of an "Ultimates" style version of the Sonic series - you know, the ones where they give the series a continuity enema and everything is great*. By number eight, I had kind of lost track of main charaters - how could I have forgotten about poor Antione? - and went on to more minor characters. Lupe deserves to be buff. She's so awesome ^-^ This design is a bit more complicated than I would have liked, but I /do/ think she looks pretty hot ^^

This is without a doubt the best pic of Lupe on all of Deviantart. I like how you made the gloves and pants look they've been damaged and patched multiple times. It just...fits somehow. Second, making her buff was an excellent idea. As leader of her pack, being wise isn't enough. Most tribal societies view strenght as vitally important, so Lupe probably has to fend off the occasional challenge of her leadership. (Draco, anyone?) The corded belt and tribal necklace are cool little accessories which really add to the Native American-style look she seems to have going. And the spear? I hate use this phrase, but: awesomeness. The chest bindings are an interesting detail, and only add to this pic's appeal. Again, I say this is the best Lupe on DA.

I'm stoked that you liked my take on her so much ^.^ I feel slightly guilty for giving her the native American look - I'd had pretty much zero contact with anybody of a latino persuasion back when I met Lupe, so I never realised she was supposed to have Spanish thematics until ages later

Well, back when she first appeared in the SatAM series, she and the wolfpack were presented in a Native American fashion. It was only a few years ago that Archie started representing the pack as a more Spanish/Mexican style culture. For me, the idea of the Pack being modeled after Native American tribal cultures just works better, since wolves are a common theme in those tribes.

I haven't kept up with Sonic for aaages... when they let that "Many Hands" person draw a second story - and a whole issue rather than just a short story - I decided it had become an abusive relationship, and Archie was not the bitch X\
Lupe's actually a really old character, though - she was a one-shot in the old SatAM cartoon, and showed up later in the Archie comics now and then. Just FWIW.
And no, I probably won't colour them. Though I am kind of tempted to at least ink them and see how they look...

In any case, mostly /y/, /cm/, /an/, /u/ and /e/. I'm also on /h/ sometimes, but since I prefer women on top there's rarely anything there for me. I hit /c/ now and then, but there's just too much traffic for me to handle regularly @_@ And I occasionally troll /k/ if I'm after weapon designs, but it's usually quicker to ask friends (and it never helps anyway - I despair of ever being able to draw weapons that don't look like play-doh ;_
