Description Here is my humble fanart for the totally awesome and very underrated game, "Dewprism" (a.k.a. "Threads of Fate"). Depicted here are the two main characters, Mint (pink hair) and Rue (platinum hair). I don't do alot of fanart, but I think that this game is very wonderful and so very unloved that it needed a little something.

When looking up the character designs for the game for reference pictures for this picture (because those outfits are so very confusing), I kept coming across pictures of David Bowie. One wonders. I the muted color scheme used in all of the concept artwork (in the videogame tradition, the game graphics are lot more vivid), and had fun using a very limited palette of colors in my artwork.

This is a really, really neat picture of the characters. Threads of Fate is an awesome game, as kiddy and underrated as it is, and its always neat to see old favorites in fresh styles. I really like the faces, myself (they're original), and your take on the hair is a good one, in my opinion.

I love Dewprism....Have you ever heard of Ivan Bilibin? He's a Russian art nouveau illustrator...If you never heard of him you should check his stuff out,this image is SO like him.Brilliant!

oh wow! dewprism! i haven't played this game in... years! i don't understand why, either... it was such a great game!

it makes me want to do my own fanart of it!

anyways! i like the flat coloring of it, and the lines. everything looks so smooth! and you did a great job on drawing their clothes... especially considering how complicated the designs are!

Sorry I didn't comment before. I totally love Threads of Fate, AND art nouveau--which is what this reminds me of. So this is a double . In fact, it goes well with my new sketching tutorial--I used Mint as my subject.

Dewprism!!! yea, dewprism is so underrated I've been looking for some fanart of it but all I get are characters I don't even know TT.TT DP rocks! I finished it for like three times just to see it's real ending

This is great work! I'm also full of love for Dewprism as is, so more Dewprism art makes for the happy.
They look a lot more mature in this one than they did in the game. Probably because the brightness and gigantic anime-style eyes are gone. It's different. Really neat. ^_^
Also, really nice work with Rue's weapon. It looks almost exactly like in the game. Just a little bit bigger than the original but it's still a really impressive drawing of it!
Very awesome work. Keep it up!

Thanks! I didn't really know what age they were supposed to be, so I made them looking about mid-teen... I'm glad you like it! The weapon took a while, just making sure I had everything in the right place

mm another great job.

They don't look overly happy though xD poor dears. Then again, I suppose they don't have much to be happy about...

Anyway, that is a great game, I didn't really expect to find anyone else who has played it to be truthful .-. the fans seem to be rare for some reason.

I have this game, and I personally have to say that I agree with you. This game is indeed underrated. The graphics are beautiful, and I love the storyline. Oh, and your work looks great too!!! Keep up the good work.

I absolutely love the color scheme. And your muted colors make the lineart pop out a ton. I've never seen the game. But the characters are wonderful and look like they'd be fun to play a game with.

This is lovely! I like it a LOT!! The colors seem to match the characters really well! I especially like Rue, and I congradulate (spelled wrong) you on actually making Mint, despite her totally confusing costume! This is an automatic fav for me. ^^

But David Bowie? Maybe he's secretly the Puppet Master..... Hurm......... ¬_¬

It's for the PSX. It's really old and it's by Squaresoft (Final Fantasy). It is in 3D, but it was really really early 3D graphics, so it's pretty square (haha) and kinda funny looking. It's a really cool RPG/Adventure/Strategy game, but the dungeons in it are so bad it sometimes makes you want to chuck the PSX at the TV..... Great plot and all though ^^

Thanks Their faces bug me alot, though. I also drew Mint's bangs wrong. She has bangs and long forelocks. And you don't even want to know how much of this picture was a vector at some point and time
