Finally got to make this little guy! Took awhile, the pattern was a little confusing with no real instructions.. and trying to figure out how the hell to sew the body parts together was a pain, but I figured it out thanks to dad. I definitely want to make more chao, but I plan to give the pattern a complete overhaul. The artist who made it was amazing and I'm super thankful they shared it, but I can see ways to tweak it to suit my own sewing style.
Still, I love this little bugger, and I was trying to think of a mouth, but in the end, I liked him better neutral. He's made of Minky and felt for eyes. And no, he is NOT for sale, I'm keeping him! Once I redo the pattern to my tastes, THEN I will be making chao to sell. I've decided I want to make chao much more then ponies, because chao are much more my passion (as is apparent by me have like a HUNDRED chao characters! XD ) So eventually I want to make chao of all types/alignment.colors/etc. Yes, my goal is to eventually make my own Crackers. XD
