this picture is gorgeous, you rlly just got the dark shadowing done with an HB pencil? It's harder for me to get the shading dark enough, I end up just using a charcoal stick or something pastely

No, for the dark shadows I used a 5B pencil, HB pencil was for shadows more clear or Jensen's face (:
