Thank you! Like not blended well with the environment? Or you think a different stock photo would be better for the character? I think I'm a bit rusty getting back into photo manipulations lol. It can be so difficult getting a scene together to work with a lot of different photos and also get the message I want in there.

You are most welcome . Yeah, like not blended well into the environment. No worries, practice makes better . That's so true! Wish there was a place one could find the stock there are looking for with little difficulty, alas, there isn't one, but many sites try.

I see! I'll spend more time on the next one trying to match the environment better. I'd practice editing this more right now but unfortunately my computer needs some repairs right now so can't open photoshop. Do you have some tips on how I could have blended better? I really appreciate the constructive feedback.

! Do you know what the problem is for your computer? I'll try . One of the reasons the figure doesn't blend with the other parts of the artwork is the difference in lighting. Everything else (for the most part) has an orange-ish brown glow because of the background lighting. Since the figure doesn't it looks like she isn't there. Also, the portal would be another light source so the area around it should have a blue tint to it in and highlight certain places (this includes the figure).  The figure should have the shading to correspond to the light sources. Everything else is fine though. Hope that helps .

Oh and I think it's just a graphics card issue on my computer hoping to have it fixed this weekend, luckily my brother is a computer tech!

Yeah, that would definitely mess with Photoshop. Hopefully you're brother will fix it .

Thank you! I did add some reddish orange to the shadows and midtones of the girl but maybe I didn't add enough to be noticeable, same with some lighting from the portal. Definitely got to work to make what I do more noticeable. Thanks again!

No problem . I do see some highlights, but I don't see the reddish orange. I've looked up some tutorials and I think they can help with what you are trying to do. Here are two (The second one is the quickest technique, but the first is an interesting alternative):
