Description
The images in the Crossroads series represent a new direction in my work – something I have wanted to do for a long time. For each image I distressed a plate of glass by hand and then shot the subject through it digitally to create a distressed aesthetic in homage to old photographic techniques. In essence, I am trying to merge the old with the new, hence the name of the series, Crossroads.

Note: Aside from converting the images to black and white and some other minor adjustments everything you see was done in-camera, including the textures.
