Umm first off my apologies to *Ricber for taking so long on this. He gave me a list of characters from which to draw from and I picked Red Arrow! I had no idea who he was but I loved his red hair and red outfit. I wikipedia'ed him and he has like 3 different aliases. I think he also appeared on Teen Titans cartoon show (boggles memory).But yes, I had this sketched out for a while, then I had it inked for a while, and I finally colored it last night with the awesome copic markers <---I *heart* them so much!!!
And Rich, I hope I did him justice! Sorry this took forever.

DC has got some really awesome characters and the best thing about them is that, since most originate from the 1940s (Speedy, later known as Red Arrow included), they have a rich history that reflects the mentality of the times they were written in. However, it is my opinion that instead of trying to take advantage of this richness, DC tries too hard to make its characters "realistic" and "modern" (mostly by plaguing them with angst and frustration..sheesh..), thus canceling their diveristy and leaving them one-sided.

Dude smelly markers give me headaches, I love copic markers. It's funny, I HATED markers (I always used crayola or pentel) bwhaha but MAN I was missing out.
