Description
So my buddy writes sum fan-fiction. This one has to do w/ an alternate universe of X-Men where Jean Grey is the leader. From Left to Right: Iceman, Marrow, Damien aka Cecilia Reyes, Synch, Dazzler, Northstar, Phoenix, and Nightcrawler in the front. I used colored pencils and did sum manipulations in Photoshop. Didn't do an awesome job? I'm especially amazed with his Damian (Cecilia Reyes) and Northstar (who actually Eric doesn't think he's drawn well here...but I think Northstar looks stellar!). Eric is one of the few artists I've known who can actually make a latina/o character look *latin*. Nightcrawler looks distinctly German, too. I just love it.
This piece actually inspired me to change the storyline a tad after a conversation with Eric over the colouring. It's amazing what an insightful artist can do for a storyline. And since the scripts I'll be writing are useful artist references/tools, I'm really looking forward to seeing whatever Cirgy may be inspired to do with the characters in the future.
The smoke done in Photoshop definately makes me wonder how your work looks with digital painting. God I love your artwork, dude. You rock.

Well what I wanted was an X-Men group shot of my fav characters...as for the other part, I'd love to do an art trade, but I've started a new job and just haven't had the time to draw anything in about a month or so, but I can sure try...I still owe Micah a pic and I feel bad about it -_-;
