Description Yesterday was the last day I was learning something for school... now onwards is school almost over! and as soon as I got back home I took my camera and I went on the garden behind my house. I was walking around and I thought that it might be interesting to shoot that funnel when water run from the tap. I also put daisy into and I waited until sun come out of the cloud and I took several shots.
Later I also did some work in Photo shop. I used that water filter to reduce reflections on drops and I played with levels as well. Here are techs: (1/320s + F5,6 + frontal macro lens x1 + 18-55mm ) And I think that I used polarize fitler also, but I am not 100% sure.
Anyway I welcome any kind of opinions and comments... Be honest!

I actually love this very much. A very creative water shot, and we know that it's among the most popular things to shoot around DA.

The splash is so envigorating, and the amorphous creations formed by the water are captivating. I love the fact that the textures of the concrete are showing through, that's yet another inovation in water shooting, that i have seen thus far.

The manipulation of the shot is superb, while i would only suggest retaining that top bubble of water in a more crisper focus, just like the ones on the bottom....but that's just my personal preference.

I think it works really well as an abstract design as all of the forms are echoing the circular shape, from the water bubbles, to the flower, to the metal shaft from which the water is sparkling.

For this piece in particular i would have used that intensely yellow flower that grows along side daisies, because of the green leaf cought in the middle, as i think the green of the leaf and the yellow of the flower, would relate as colors and hence come forth more prominently... but on the other side, you are using the daisy continously in your macro shots, and thus it's a thematic series of sorts, so it makes a lot of sense...which perhaps you could finish it off with a culminating piece (after a couple of more macros in different settings) by composing it all into one single deviation representing it as a story...

for instance different elements...water, earth etc.... and the daisy flower would be a common string interconnecting them all... with a special symbolism.

something like *ssilence did in [link] where he used as the motif the human virtues and you could use the afore mentioned elements.... just a thought

i love the obvious motion of the shot. freezing time in its tracks.
the single flower also brings in a unique focal point.

I think a slight angle would have let you show off the spatial relationships between the drops a bit better.
