I took some time away from working out/swordfighting and my usual art to do some sewing. Last year (before all of the world's craziness), I went to the fabric market with some friends and found this beautiful blue-green soft fabric on discount. When remnants are marked that low, what they are isn't always marked, but this was so soft I had to use it for something. So I created a viking hood to wear in the autumn when it's just starting to get chilly. Adding a little floral embroidery and some red coral beads finished it off, and I couldn't resist taking some photos!

This last year has been crazy. I found myself extremely inspired last summer, though it slowly faded during the winter. The holidays just weren't the same. Still, the sun is coming out again, and I'm trying to get myself to be excited and creative again. How have you all been?
