Finally some art! I promised I would try to share some more, and it's been a while, but hopefully there's more to come. This time I'm trying a different style from my usual art, it's the animated style from one of my current favorite shows, The Dragon Prince (it's amazing, has some cool fantasy elements, and of course it has dragons in it, so it's perfect for me).The character I drew here is the title character of the show, the dragon prince named Azymondias, or Zym for short, and he has to be one of the cutest little dragons I've ever seen. I had to try and draw him myself!
All feedback and comments are welcome! I think it turned out pretty good, but I know there are things that could be better. I'm still trying to get better at making good backgrounds.
The reference photo I used is here . I know there's another character holding up the dragon while he's "flying" but I liked the image more without the arms at the bottom so I left them out (plus I'm a little lazy and didn't want to draw them). The show The Dragon Prince, the character name, and the design all belong to Netflix.

Autodesk SketchBook software
Wacom Intuos Draw tablet
~6-8 hours (a guess, but I'm so slow!)

Thanks! I have been practicing a bit (honestly this piece itself is part of what I consider "practice"), and trying to improve my digital art recently. Something like this piece would not have taken as long or been as challenging if I did it traditionally, but I want to improve my digital skills as well, so that's why I'm going to keep trying to do more digital art. I do like both, but with traditional drawing I have been doing that almost all my life so it's easier for me!

Thanks! I think I will keep doing something like this, or just more digital art in general. It's fun, and if I get a little faster (which I'm sure I will with practice) it won't be so long between each piece
