Got GTA4 recently although with a new X-box 360. I really enjoyed it, although I was hoping towards the end that Nico would rise up the crime ladder more, but then again that's quite similar to past GTAs and this time I think Rockstar were focusing on the story far more so that before. When the twist came at the end I literally shouted out "NNNOOOOO" at my TV screen, so I guess it worked to a degree.

It sold because of the name, that's easy. I just got tired of doing pretty much the same thing over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, etc... I gues I've just grown out of that type of game, I need substance these days.

Yeah, but I even go back to Vice City as my fav. I think the series just got to repetitive for me. If you enjoy those type of games, I HIGHLY recommend "The Saboteur", it was excellent IMO.
