Another addition to my heroes series. And this time a triptych!

Nick Frost, Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg.

I am a huge fan of all three of these guys. Have been ever since I saw Spaced way back in 1999. I love pretty much everything they do individually, but as a team, they truly create some of my best TV and film memories.

So imagine my delight when I find out that their third film together; "The World's End" had been announced this weekend. Well, I just had to make this tribute.

The idea of the three colours comes from Edgar Wright and is itself a reference to a series of films by Krzysztof Kieślowski, referred to as the "Three Colours film trilogy." Edgar/Pegg/Frost's is called the "Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy" (or the "Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy"). Hence the colour schemes here.

The films are as follows:
Red - Strawberry - Shaun of the Dead
Blue - Original Chocolate - Hot Fuzz
Green - Mint Chocolate Chip - The World's End

Anyway, although based mostly on Shaun of the Dead, I tried to fit in Nick and Simon's other characters - namely Mike and Tim from Spaced and Danny and Nicholas from Hot Fuzz. And because Edgar isn't an actor I thought I'd throw a bit of Scott Pilgrim there too.

Hope you all like this as much as I enjoyed doing it. I can't wait to see what The World's End brings.
