Description     The "war to end all wars" reached it's end five years ago, ushering in an era of peace and prosperity fo the German people, and has propelled the german empire to become one of the most powerful nations in the world. Since winning the war, the Germans have drastically increased their territory, coming to dominate Central Europe. Germany, with it's new territories and client states (The Netherlands, Belgium, Croatia, and Romania respectively) has become the dominant force in Continental Europe.

Unfortunately for the germans however, they were unable to hold most of the land given to them in the treaty of Brest-Livosk, as communist revolutions were already well underway in The Baltics, Belarus, and Ukraine. As a result of this, these nations defected to the Soviet Union before the germans were able to properly administer these territories. Finland was also taken over by communism and later joined the soviets.

While this was a setback for the germans, it was certainly a far better situation than what befell their biggest co-belligerents; Austria-Hungary and Ottoman Turkey. Austria-Hungary was tearing at the seams with ethnic conflict, which was only exasperated by the war. When it ended, the nation simply could not stay together and collapsed into a plethora of smaller states (Austria, Croatia, and Hungary respectively, as well as parts of Poland). Austria, as not banned from unifying with Germany as it was in OTL, was absorbed into the German Empire along with the Czech Republic, who Austria had not yet released from it's grasp. Germany annexed Poland in hopes of creating a buffer state, but that plan has not yet come to fruition and as of right now Poland is German territory, which doesn't sit well with the international community. The Ottoman Empire also collapsed, and its former territory was carved up between England and France. Both Nations occupy the fledgeling Republic of Turkey, until Atatürk's new provisional government can establish a foothold.

Bulgaria, although joining the war later, was still able to reap the rewards of winning the war, and have absorbed new territory that it occupied during the war.

Huh. The map looks really good, and you can't really exhaust the CP Victory scenario. The color scheme is far better than what I usually end up with, too.

However, I can't help but feel that the Soviets were given all those free Communist revolutions for no reason than to 'balance out' the map, to give the Societs a chance. Because in the original timeline, the Germans helped the Finns crush a Red uprising in 1917-1918, had diplomacy with a newly-independent Ukraine that held right up until the Polish-Soviet War, and the Baltics in particular were held by the German Army even after the Germans had actually CAPITULATED, until democratic Baltic forces drove them out.

Plus, I don't get why Albania would receive Montenegro.

Yeah, I realize there are some major plot holes in this scenario. I’m planning on reworking this when exams are over and I have free time.

great map.  ...with no Northern Ireland border, and both islands in the same colour, is it right to assume that all of Ireland is in the UK?

I would definitely be interested in seeing a workup for this. Question though, if Germany won, why would their client states established by Brest-litovsk be allowed to go red?

My idea there was that communist revolutions had already begun to take place, thus the Germans couldn't prevent these states from defecting to the Soviet Union. I admit I haven't really researched this or come up with a backstory, I just had this idea and had to get it out!

Hey, I've updated the description if you're interested. I've gone more in depth about the situation depicted in the map. Appreciate the feedback!
