Description
V.3. (Capitols Added)
Europe is dominated by Great Powers: Denmark, Russia, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Turkey, England, and France.
Denmark remained united with Norway, with the union dominated by Denmark. Denmark-Norway incorporated Iceland and Greenland into their territory, and then proceeded to take islands with the Baltic sea. Today, the Kingdom dominates the Baltic with an Iron fist, much to the dismay of Sweden and Russia. Iceland, Greenland, Norway and the Baltic islands enjoy relative autonomy, with their own governments and laws, but all executive decisions are ultimately left to the Danish government.
After a long war, Serbia managed to be rid of it's Ottoman oppressors. They were successfully able to wrench Rumania and Montenegro from their grasp a short while later, creating what is known as "The Belt", a string of small nations between Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire. Croatia and Greece, inspired by the Serbs, rebelled against their masters and broke free. Ottoman territory in Europe is diminishing...
Thus leaves a plethora of smaller nations, dominated by the Seven Great Powers of the European Continent.
