Spike is super tall for a Chesnaught. He's 6'! That's nearly a foot taller than the normal 5'3 for a Chesnaught. Spike is a rescue that came from a very neglectful household. With enough food and care, Spike blossomed into huge, overly-furry champion. He loves battling and flirting but is an all around caring and friendly Pokemon. He's best friends with Satoshi but rubs Sugar the wrong way because of his loud and showy battling-style.

Muun is a national treasure. She, along with her trainer Clara, help rehabilitate tough cases of abuse, trauma, neglect and terribly sick Pokemon. A rescue herself, Muun understands the viewpoint of hurt and damaged Pokemon. She uses her psychic abilities to communicate both with humans and Pokemon; she can say what other Pokemon cannot. Sugar came into Muun's care right after being rescued from an illegal fighting ring and tested the little Munna's rehabilitation skills. With the aid of her Hypnosis and Rest, Muun's caring nature and psychic ability makes her an invaluable asset to healing damaged Pokemon.

Vesper the Espeon. He came to the same rehabilitation center as Sugar. Only an Eevee at that time, Vesper only just evolved into an Espeon. Because of his strong personality and headstrong attitude, Vesper's previous owner dumped him deep in a Sinnoh forest. There, he was attacked and mauled. He lost his left eye and ear in the attack. Traumatized and angry, he found himself under the care of Muun and Clara. His recovery was going really well and he even evolved into an Espeon. That was until he found out that Sugar would be adopted by one of Sinnoh's most prestigious and wealthy families. And NOT him. Enraged, he psychically triggered the fragile Sugar into a blackout rage where she almost killed Satoshi and his trainer, her adoptive trainer. Muun stopped Sugar before anyone was seriously hurt and discovered Vesper responsible. Vesper is now under the care of Sabrina of the Saffron City Gym to train and better him.

And Faith the Lopunny! She is a charismatic, friendly and energetic designer Pokemon. She was given to Sugar's trainer's wife by an admirer. She's not exactly a shiny nor is she a normal Lopunny. She helps Sugar with her recovery. Faith does not care much for battling and prefers to be pampered and by her owner's side. She is mated to King, her owner's husband's Machoke. Faith is a little hesitant to change so when King decides he wants to evolve into a Machamp, it puts their relationship in a strain. Her design was inspired by !
