I rather like it. It's fall and winter and death all at once. The red obviously looks very blood-like, but with the trees it throws it off, so the mood of the viewer in the moment decides how ominous the piece is.

I actually wanted the leaves to appear to be leaves and blood drops at the same time... And it is really important for me that the viewer thinks about it
