Durron’s feelings for Lottie are a lot more complicated since he didn’t really trust her when they first met despite the fact that she rescued him. It took a while for him to release that Lottie genuinely cares about his well being and isn’t the same as the Changelings from the Dominion who abandoned him to the Borg, and has grown a deep respect for her afterwards. Lottie (even though she’s too young to remember anything from the Dominion War) also has a lot of guilt when it comes to how her people treated the Cardassians so she really wants try to make amends by helping Durron in any way she can. They’re starting to develop feelings towards each other as well.💖💙🖤
