AFter a stressfull week, it's fun to watch a few moments at some unseen works. This one is nice to see too, it's seens like a mix of cultures. Wall from barcelona, house from florida and an arabic woman.
Nice subject-picking, even if it's just a few houses.

great handle on perspective here! i love the tone of the piece as well and how you got the colors in the same family of tones and hues. i like the minor detail that you don't see until you full-view, very unexpected and works great in the piece!!

actually the ref scene is from a recent newspaper photo from Tunisia. That explains her clothing.
And purple, yes, but sometimes camera refuses to pick up violet from the original painting and shows blue instead.

Great painting! I love the colors you used..and the persepctive. The shadows on the wall to show the curve really work! I love the trees and colorful leaves as well. ^_^

It feels like looking at a picture ... but one you would expect to start moving like a piece of film ......
The woman in her sari simply walks away .... out of the spectator's view.
The all around feeling is very realistic ... I think I can smell the sun heated stones of the sideway.
