Thank you! I would never try to copy Van Gogh! I fear ridiculousness... And sunflowers are always sunflowers, even faded! I remember that VVG has depicted a pot of totally faded sunflowers...

I was 35 when I painted these sun flowers...of which I wasn't particulary proud of...Now I would be more indulgent....

For a long time, I assumed that these were recently done...
Perhaps you would consider these, or lilies in another??
(I have not forgotten my plan to plan lilies - at your suggestion -)

..and a comment of sorts by the small homage of inclusion into
the old interior scene, and less-noticable, in an exterior...

When you write 'lilies", you mean iris?( lilies are weddings or funerals flowers...
I would be so pleased to send you iris rhysoms ( very tough underground stem). A plant which needs NOTHING!
But I'm afraid a packet pointing"iris rhizoms" would be refused by US customs.. Would you ask at you post office?
