YCH for ChainedCanineWhen I first made the sketch I thought that I would try to make it a bit 3D-ish... but eh... I guess I'll still have to work on that part TwT Also I'm quite happy with the bg... I dunno... I'm usually not that good with clouds, and the grass is also very tricky and I'm trying to figure out how they do it in anime movies and all... I mean... how can u even do it as good as they do!?!?!?!

The fur is shaded really nicely and the pose is great too. The grass should get smaller the futher it is. If you're going for a sunset scene, the grass wouldn't be that green and everything would be a bit more orangeish. The sun looks too weak, maybe next time try to make it shine a little bit brighter. The clouds are a bit too dense, I would reccomend using a soft brush with low Flow and their shadows would be more blue or purple, only the parts where the sunlight hits them should be orange. The same applies for sunrise scenes, but those have less contrast and are more pink than orange.

Or at least just remember witch photo u wrote it on so that I always can find it :'D It's so lovely to get critique so I can improve my art a bit more ^^ I mean.. ppl always think that it would hurt the artist, and it probably also will with some ppl, but seen from my side, critique is much needed! <333

I see critique the same as you do. It's needed for artists to see what other people see. The mistakes artists make are often not spotted by the artists themselves, but the people the picture is presented to can see them. Now, there are two types of critiques. Formal critiques pointing at mistakes and just straight up harassment. Formal critiques are what actually helps artists become better. People writing those should know something about art or have at least some experience with it. They write what's wrong and how to fix/avoid it next time. Harassment, that speaks for itself. Nobody benefits from it. People can say "You suck, learn how to draw." even though they cannot draw themself. Nobody benefits from that.
