You've gotten that same message as you wandered through the once happy land of the Underground, now a desolate, empty land..with no one else alive in Snowdin, Waterfall, or the Hotlands. Their deaths were by your hand..but they were Monsters; in the end they would've betrayed you, stabbed you in the back for their own selfish reasons--just like those on the Surface had done to you.

*You felt your sins crawling up your back.

The voice inside your head, the demonic possession that was forcing you fight, encouraged you on wards, even if that pesky flower wasn't around to do so.

Watching the ones who might have been your friends turn to dust drove you mad. Their words have rendered you speechless, and gave you second thoughts, but the voice would not let you succumb to their kind gestures..

Everything about that skeleton was irritating: from his puzzles to his laugh. You knew that he was merely chasing a false dream. He could never become a royal guard. You will admit..he was one of the kindest Monsters, who offered to spare you, believing that you could change, see the error in your ways. Even as your knife cut swiftly through his suit, he knew that, eventually, you'd realize that the path you were going down would merely lead to a dead end.

But hell, what would he know? He was a brainless skeleton, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to capture you so he can become 'popular'.

You picked up his tattered crimson "cape". It was all that was left of him, just a memory. Sighing, you buried it in the snow and made a faux grave with some sticks. At least the voice had the audacity to let you stay there and silently mourn his death for a few moments.

"Rest in...pieces, Papy," you chuckled, walking out of the quiet forest of Snowdin with your hands in your pockets, unaware of the ominous presence that was watching you with a glowing blue eye..

Undyne

She was once called 'The Undying'. Ha, the irony. But she had put up quite the fight as her rain of spears pierced your skin. You almost cut that disgusting fishwoman into two when she saved Monster Kid from death, but her fighting spirit and vengeance-filled Determination kept her from succumbing to your attacks so easily. Undyne swore to strike you down, for the sake of her friends and the future of the Underground.

The wind of the Waterfall region howled as you rose to your feet, glaring at the armor-clad Royal Guard who held a sly smirk on her face. "Had enough, little punk?" She questioned, summoning more spears that all pointed at you.

Oh how badly you wanted to wipe that grin off her face.

"Not. Even. Close." With a mad grin, Undyne threw the spears. Copying her grin, you rushed forward, dodging all of them before swinging your knife, cutting into her armor. She gasped, the levitating spears collapsing to the ground as she did.

The Undying gritted her teeth. "Damn it..even with that power..it wasn't enough." You let out a small 'hmpf', turning away. Suddenly, you heard her chuckle. "What?" Turning back, you stared down at the dying fishwoman with one eyebrow raised.

"If you...if you think I'm gonna give up hope, you're wrong," she began, "'cause I've got my friends behind me. Alphys told me that she would watch me fight you, and if anything went wrong she would....evacuate everyone. By now she's called Asgore and told him...to absorb the 6 human souls..."

You glared at her, gripping your knife tightly.

"A-and...with that power..." Undyne struggled to finish as her armor started to melt. "This world...w..will live on!" Taking her last breath, she melted and disintegrated into dust.

*Undyne's allegiance to her fallen comrades fills you with Deter-

You giggled madly, your eyes glowing red. "Oh don't worry, Undyne. I'll find them all: Alphys, Asgore...everyone...cannot hide from their fate..."

Muffet

Ah, little Miss Muffet. She and her little spider minions didn't stand a chance against you. You were an exterminator of not only Monsters, but everything and anything that ever creeped and crawled in this wretched place. For all you know, Muffet would poison you the first chance she gets..which is a cowardly way to fight. She thought your soul would be good for business.

As you watched her form turn to dust, you noticed one of her pet spiders crawling towards the spot where she was slain, where her fresh drops of blood remained on the ground.

It laid a white flower there, in memory of its "Spider Queen". As it turned away, you stomped on it with your foot.

"Disgusting little things..." You grunted, failing to see the irony in that phrase as you scraped the arachnid's remains off your shoe before proceeding out of the caverns, hacking your way through the webs.

A narcissistic, melodramatic, entitling machine who also wanted your soul...for fame. It was all he ever cared about. Yet despite his massive ego, he was a coward to face you, until he learned that you were a threat not only to Monsters, but to humanity as well. It was then you realized how much he cared about this world and yours, and the Monsters Alphys helped evacuate.

But the robot had always taken his existence for granted....

And you were going to make him wish he hadn't.

"Feast your eyes..upon my TRUE form-Mettaton NEO!"

In a puff of smoke, the flamboyant robot transformed from a superstar with a photogenic body to an intimidating visage of a human eradicator. Large, mechanical bat-like wings spread out from his form, and in place of his right hand was a laser cannon.

"BEHOLD! DR. ALPHYS' GREATEST INVENTION! So..what do you think, darling~?" He asked, putting a hand on his hip. "Was I worth the wait~?"

"....."

"Oh what am I talking about? Of course I was~!" Mettaton NEO laughed, charging up his cannon. "Well darling, this is the big finale! So I hope you're ready~!" The robot aimed his weapon at you.

*the stage lights are blaring

"You've been a great audience..human-"

*click*

"Huh? Wha..."

*click* *click* *click*

"Oh dear..it seems I cannot do anything." His eyes widened and he looked down at you, sweating nervously. "D-Darling, um..perhaps you'd like to-?"

*FIGHT

With one slash to Mettaton NEO's heart-shaped core, all of his HP fell to zero. The flamboyant robot gasped, falling to his knees (but not the dramatic way he normally would). He began to twitch violently as spark and smoke started emerging from his body.

"Sorry, Metta," you spoke, "but the curtains are closing for good."

"S-So they are...." Mettaton coughed, closing his eyes. "G..Guess that means you don't want to join my fanclub." He sighed. "W-W-Well..I could tell f-from that strike..you were holding back darling. You aren't a-absolutely evil, are you? You w-wouldn't harm humanity..ri-right?"

You gritted your teeth, yet somehow..you knew he was right. But god, you hated the smirk he gave you: that smirk that once made your heart flutter..was now making your blood boil.

"At least..I can r-rest easy..knowing that Al-Al-Alphys and the others..w-will live on..n..." Those were his last words before he self-destructed in a blinding flash, which you shielded your eyes from. Afterwards, there was nothing left of him but scraps and bolts that eventually turned to dust.

"So..you were a human eradicator, eh?" You smirked, wiping the oil off your blade.

"You couldn't attack me though.. because I was never human to begin with."

If no one else was determined to stop you..it was that foolish, stubborn skeleton. At first sight he was already a pain, with his stupid puns and laziness. But after you killed his brother, that's when he showed his true self-and called you a "dirty brother killer". His strength impressed you, especially when he used those "Gaster Blasters" on you. But you weren't going to be intimidated by a floating dragon skull..not one-not even 50 of them attacking you at the same time!

In the Judgement Hall, you had a showdown with him that lasted for ages until he tried his "special attack" which was...nothing. You realized he was trying to bore you out of fighting and convince you to give up. But your bloodlust had grown the more you waited, and the fact that he had dodged every one of your attacks only made it worse.

'Is he...sleeping?' You muttered, realizing he was just standing there. Smirking, you slowly approached him, tiptoeing quietly across the marble floor with your knife in hand. But just as you lunged, Sans opened one eye socket and dodged...again. "Heh, did'ja really think you were able to-?"

*FIGHT

Both of his eye sockets widened as he looked down at his torso, a nasty gash oozing red torn through his shirt. The chubby skeleton fell to his knees, holding a shaking hand over where you sliced him.

"...s-so..I guess that's it then...[y/n].....please.." Sans begged, looking up at you with tears in his eye sockets as he saw you approaching. "The way you're going...y-you're gonna have a REALLY bad time. It's not too l-late to RESET, kid..." You stopped in your tracks, flinching slightly at his words.

He knew it though. He knew you had the power to SAVE and RESET-the powers of a god. But would you use them?

"What would you know Sans?!" You growled. "All you will do is betray me! Just like the others! I..I..I'm only trying to survi-"

"You think that's all you're trying to do: survive..open your eyes kid! You've killed EVERYONE! What will happen next?! When you realize everyone's dead and you're all alone?! What then?!" His voice echoed through the Judgement Hall.
You were silent, your hands shaking as the voice inside your head was chanting, demanding that you FIGHT.
"Heheh.." Sans chuckled. "You may be a dirty brother killer..bu..but I still see good in ya, kid. Just RESET and we c..can start over..please.."

*Sans is sparing you.

"S-Sans.." You whimpered, tears in your eyes as you crouched down in front of him. "I..I'm sorry.." You put your hand out in front of him. The skeleton smiled, sighing with relief as he grasped your hand and you pulled him up.

"It's..it's alright kid, everything's gonna-"

"Sorry that there isn't always a happy ending~!! Hahahahaaaa!!" The skeleton's gasped in horror, he recognized that laughter. Before he could react, you stabbed him in the chest. He fell to the ground, gasping for breath, struggling to stay conscious, for it could be his last. "No...not..y-you..!"

"Oh, but yes..yes it's me! Nice to see you again, Sans...oh? What's wrong? You looked quite RATTLED~!"

Sans looked up in terror as you rose your knife high in the air, the blood-crusted blade glinting in the light of Judgement Hall.

That was the last thing he ever saw.

That old fool. Even the king of the Underground failed to protect his own people. He knew everyone he had ever loved was gone...forever. Despite that, he still spared you, even offering to "settle it" over a cup of tea. You didn't abide by his kind gesture, knowing he'd just take your soul anyways like the others.

You saw the fear in his eyes when you cut your knife through that seemingly impenetrable armor. A single, final question of "why?" escaped his lips as he disintegrated.

Before you moved on, though, you saw his lonely, grey soul floating in the air. Your eyes widened as you saw a ring of white bullets surrounded him, before they destroyed Asgore once and for all.

It did indeed as you stepped across the patch of golden flowers, leaving the throne room to confront one last person.
