My fiance bought me some strawberry's and raspberry's today to make a cake for my friends. He ended up coming home with two huge punnets so i ended up on a three hour baking session of cupcakes, ice lollys, loaf cakes and milkshake. I have now had enough of fruit for one day!To make this i blitzed up strawberry's, raspberry's, milk and ice cream to taste, drizzled over some cream then placed some fruit on top of the glass.

Oh.. ehh... strawberries are called "aardbeien" in Dutch, but they also have a nickname, which is "zomerkoninkjes"; this can be translated as "little Summerkings"

they and strawberry's are rather expensive especially in the smaller shops, a bit better in the supermarkets but not something i could buy everyday.

Your fiance and my husband are on the same wave length. My hubby came home the other day with a huge flat of strawberries. Certainly much more than we could eat. I hate seeing them go bad, so I've been making smoothies all week and just used up the last for a syrup!
