I was trying out a different style, and this happened
It's a horrible photo, but I hope it still looks alright. Β The shading always comes out less intense in the photo than in real life... 
I'll probably end up coloring just the blue flames later when I have more time.
(if you can't tell, Ron's holding Scabbers... I'm bad at drawing animals)

I love your style! Have you ever thought of inking or coloring your pictures? It would be amazing to see

Thanks!! Β I do sometimes ink my drawings, I'm just never really know what to ink- the whole thing or just the strong lines? Β I guess it depends on the style. Β I do dabble with some digital art but I'm trying to shift from Gimp to Corel Painter and they are so different and I'm so confused haha xD Β Also I'm still not very good at handling software in general yet... Thanks for the suggestion, though- I might try coloring this once I understand the program! Β Either that or I could attempt to color it with colored pencils, but I always feel that I ruin things when I color them lol.

Yes, I saw some digital ones in your gallery. I know, getting used to a software gets a lot of time. But it's worth it! It's a totally different world than just pen and paper. I always hold back a lot more on my traditional work, not coloring or inking in fear of destroying it. In digital, you can just save and then go wild, if it doesn't work you can go back.
Someone very wise once said that you need to dare to "destroy your darlings" to get further. I hope you find your way, digitally or traditionally, I will be watching.

Thanks so much for the advice! Β Yes, that's why I love digital- you can undo almost anything you do. Β I'm trying to branch out more (and finally taking art 1 class at school) so I can "destroy my darlings" with different media and colors. Β I hope I'll learn some from it. Β Thanks!
