Description
Well, I know who he is, but these Kukuri don't!This piece took me many hours to complete... I wanted to use the opportunity to experiment with colours and backgrounds - so this is my result!
I'll definitely be working more in future to refine backgrounds and get the effect across that I want

(Super long post warning!)
Oh my gosh, this has to be undoubtedly your best work yet! The entire scene is an astonishing display of beautiful colors and effects. I can almost hear the giant flames roaring, the nearby water splashing against the ground, the Kukuri shuffling and murmuring in their confusion, the choirs ahhing as this mysterious creature breaks through the brightly moonlit sky. I could almost see this in motion in my mind, and you couldn't convince me otherwise that it isn't actually animated!
Forgive me for always typing out long posts, but I just have to speak my thoughts on this piece now while I have a coherent train of thought!
Firstly, the first thing that really popped out to me were the great flames bursting through the sky atop those mighty rock spires. I like how well they illuminate the area around them, and I like how it almost seems like, with the glows that seem to drop down along the rock spires, that larger embers are floating down into the water below, rather than only being caught by the wind. Speaking of the rock spires, the coloring on them is amazing - the various shades of blue that accent the various grays of the rocks is really nicely done, right down to the layer of mist above the sea.
The other thing that stood out most to me was great and mighty Semyaza, proudly flying along, with only the moon which would normally keep the world lit at night, now seemingly turning its attention to the majestic creature and acting as his spotlight in this display, the stars of the night sky becoming the stage's backdrop. It really adds to the importance of the character to this piece, and I just really like how you pulled off the lighting effects! The group of Kukuri, with all sorts of expressions, most wanting to hide, almost end up taking the role of the audience in this brilliant performance! It's amazing just how much larger Tarkee are than these smol, floofy Kukuri :3
I can't describe the magnitude of how awesome this piece is - no single word could achieve it (I'm also not very proud of the lack of variety in my descriptive vocabulary xD). Again, this is, in my opinion, your best piece yet. You aimed to create something amazing, and you pushed your talent to the limit to achieve this. I'm proud of you!

Reading your description whilst looking at my painting kinda made me appreciate it all that much more, and appreciate how my efforts were not wasted :3
I wanted to get a lot more small detail into the image, but I felt really satisfied with it in this state - the impressions I wanted to get across are getting there, and I feel like it's a huge step in the right direction!
My only 'problem' with it is that this was entirely time consuming to do and I burnt out afterwards.
But when I recover, I'll definitely try another painting style detailed background like this! It was incredibly fun.

I certainly try!
Despite that, I don't think I'd be able to be quite as detailed if I ended up making a story of my own XD
But it turned out great even then, and that just means that in the future you'll be producing even greater works of art!
I know the feeling though - those two full-color pieces I've done and uploaded so far to FA really tired me out through the whole process. I won't deny, however, that the satisfaction of completing them was well worth it!

Which also (bitterly) reminds me of photoshop... I still haven't found it! I'll have to make-do with the more limited tools of medibang. So I'll work on that as soon as I've finished these other art payments for my various ARPG addictions xD
