So this is my FIRST EVER attempt at drawing an anime character. I haven't spent this long on art since Summer 2005. Anyway, my dearest drew me a gorgeously cute chibi Lelouch on the front of a Christmas Card and I was so thrilled that I decided to 'reply'. Now, my darling Sukai-Yume likens me to Tamaki Suou *narcissistic grin* so I decided to be a bit playful on the theme of Tamaki!The card reads:
Dearest Sarah,
Oh how cruel…
...that this skin, shiny as ivory…
...the well-toned muscles it covers…
...and the fur that drapes them so well…
...are abjectly humbled before your overwhelming beauty,
the radiance of which steamily melts the snow.

After 12 or so redraws and scans (!), my Tamaki was finally finished. This was only a pencil drawing but I was so determined to make it brilliant that it took me about five hours to draw and WAY too long scanning, cropping, aligning and clearing up. I do not yet have photoshop so I had to blend the neck (head and torso were drawn separately) pixel by pixel using Paintbrush (Paint for Macs).
Thank you for viewing my art and I am itching to draw more! And when I get photoshop - my powers will be unparalleled! (OK, I need to chill on the Lelouch front!)
Feel free to colour it and use it anywhere, so long as you link it back to the original and credit my name!

As I have already stated countless times, IT IS AMAZING. But for a first try is even more remarkable! The anatomy is perfect for the style you are trying to [or have] achieved, the shading is accurate and the toning on the hair creates depth to the overall image. You did well to darken the eyes on paint [at least, I think you did, its what it looks like] as it makes them seem more bold and intense... oh and sexy of course. On a less nerdy note.. gaaaah bishiness to the extream!!!! And hes mine!!!! Wah ha haaaaa *points at any female that views this deviation* Youre jealous I know you are!! *Does Renge laugh and spins back into ground with the motor noises still echoing after silence has fallen*
Im getting seriously worried now that there may be someone... BETTER THAN ME *hyperventalates* at manga in the entire school!!! Waaah, teach me anatomy and Ill teach you photoshop *clings onto leg and cries .. also anime style* I will colour it, and I will try to do it justice if I can and it will officially be our first collabirative effort *looks dreamily off into the distance* I need to do the graphics revision.. buuut I'd rather do this, so if you will excuse me, my microwave JONNY CAKES are ready..
