Simon's reaction in this page is very similar to my own reaction upon seeing the Hoenn Magma & Aqua redesigns, particularly Tabitha. Haven't had the chance to mention it because he's introduced so far in the game but Tabitha is my favourite minor character ever. I was so distressed I finished this page very quickly, time will tell if I will pull through this crisis alive. Maybe with a bit of theruputic fanart in my sketchbook....enjoy the new page!

This has been a really fun (and by fun, I mean wonderfully creepy) read. Your art style is amazing, absolutely perfect for the setting, and Simon is my favourite kind of protagonist; alone, frightened, under constant threat from authority figures - this comic has been like catnip for me. I've had a lot of fun reading it and I can't wait to see what you have in store for poor Simon in the future.

I have to say I am truly stunned at the originality and impact of this story. I've read many nuzlockes, and many stories for that matter, but this one is one I won't forget. As a writer I have to say I'm extremely impressed with your choice of tone, story, method, and execution. You've taken a story, as well as a genre, made it your own, expanded upon it, and looked at a series in a new way that is innovative and interesting.
The art is captivating, the story is unnerving in the best of ways, the characters are fantastically fleshed out without needing to tell the reader. You show rather than tell - which is a fantastic part of writing a comic, which you captured perfectly.
Seriously I've never fell in love with a story this fast, this intently, and this emotionaly invested in a long long time.
I will be anxiously waiting for more. Bravo.

I feel you with Tabitha. I loved that guy! WHY? WHY DID HE BECAME FATTY and more like naughty kid than badass psychopath? Overdesign is making Pokémon less and less cool in my opinion, since in gen 1-3 pkmn were more like weird animals and ppl just normal ppl: kids, teens, adults, silly olders and mafias. Now some weird superhero theme and digimon have took all the spotlights.
I wonder if May is actually feeling bad for Simon since he's truly crying. Her expression at least changed to more calmer.
