well when i was 15 my drawings were terrible, so don't worry.
these things improve with age and practice

yeah, considering i've never done this before, it was pretty tricky.
actually, most of the stuff i do is "1 time only" so i really experiment a lot

yeah, sometimes..
but i usually back out into my 'safe pose" when the drawing doesn't turn out well.

I feel you, I do the same thing when it doesn't work out well

cool job, you have a very similar style to hirano. i wish i could draw that way

it's juat a matter of understanding the pattern and being able to reproduce it while doing original poses.
it's not hard, you just need to know what to look at..

i know what patterns to look for i just can't reproduce that patter. he focuses on large hands and rounded oblong faces. but my style is to sharp i can't reproduce that.

it actually takes prcatice..my 1st attempt was..ah..i haven't posted it for fear of hate..the oldest is the "alucard poster" one and it's the 3rd pic i did of him, so i was already more knowledgeable..
main pointers are fore the shape of teh face-it's very long with the face ending quite quickly and long chins, almost complete eyes and small pupils (mostly) , extreme (and sometimes not anatomically correct) poses and facial expressions, wavy hair, DBZ-nose (the triangle nostils bit on men) , long, extremely thin bodies and limbs and usually spidery fingers/members.
also unpredictable in patterns, as hirano NEVER draws the same character twice using the same design (if you look closely, sometimes the clothes creases are long and thin, other times short and thick, sometimes it's shaded balck, soemtimes grey, sometimes it had a dot pattern, other times lines, sometimes the buckles or ornaments change completely etc.)
so doing his style is a real problem. in the end it's up to you on either choosing a pattern and sticking to it or changing it constantly (i kinda do that) to try to REALLY imitate hirano's stuff..

i just can't do it, its disimilar to mine. i find it hard to work in any style but mine. dunno why

it's ok if you have your own style too.
mine is very weak and general, so it's not that interesting

the bindings were dificult..the whilte lines had to be made to look like straps and all while remembering to do creases, shines etc.
and of course i wouldn't kill him! he's my fave character!
i was thinking more like, fading away and appearing someplace else, like a shadow..

the symbolism better not be that alucard is fading away and out of existance or ill kill you!!!! jk.. but seriously.
anyway, i like it. it looks like it was really hard to do too..esp the hands.
..good job!!
