I'm gonna pinch your hearts again!
A contest entry to the birthday contest. I know it's kinda early but I might have too much on my hands by June so I should do it now before all the work falls on me.
The rules said I should do it in Ukiyo-E style. And I'm totally ignorant about it... except that I learned once in Art Style class that Ukiyo-E artworks usually feature the simple pleasures of a peasant's life.
So I thought something as simple as Sasuke's smile would be a good birthday gift to Itachi.People tell me there are a lot of symbolisms in this artwork.^^ But I didn't know I put them there subconsciously.
Maybe you guys could tell me if you see some.^^Ah innocent days.
I tried to make it fun but it ended up being solemn again. I really am not good with 'fun' stuff.
But then, I'm still glad I was able to make an Itachi artwork again.

well when it cmes to the relationship between sasukeand itachi, it tends to go the solemn direction, so it's not your fault. Fantastic job! it really is simple, and yet it warms your heart! *flutters* and now that I've gotten past that point in shippuden, i can understand it fully!

that Itachi had really loved his brother and only pushed him so hard so he would be strong, and the sacrafice of being killed by his younger brother as payment for his own sins. i think of that when i look at this and i feel like i can understand Itachi for the first time EVER!

But a slight correction. Sasuke didn't kill Itachi. His body finally gave way under the weight of his illness and the Susanoo usage.
