Around that time, a friend of mine was flying them.
The most common colour scheme was the "Vietnam era" one
Although there could be some for target towing duties

Putting a date/era on these is always difficult especially when they were in use for so long - I try and find out as much as I can, and also check photos on airliners.net, but nothing is 100% certain lol....

I appreciate your efforts.
It's just that I've been near them -growing up in a fightertown.
Generally speaking,in the 60ies it was "aluminum and buzz numbers" like in most airforces
In the 70ies the viet nam era camo, and it stayed untill 96-7 when they were retired after becoming.
Btw in 94 this friend of mine used to buzz past my car flying less than 5 feet
I've seen it in my rear view mirror, racing him to the next waypoint. Ok, rant stops here...

Keep it up.

I should change the date - you think 1960-something?
I did find this photo dated 1988 btw: [link]

No,I think the site is right.(1998, that is)
It must be just before decommissioning these
birds.
Hence, the tattered pink scheme, for drone towing and target practice.
