Did anyone besides me ever noticed that all of the legendary badass Pokémon shown above turn out to be some kind of desperate and misunderstood softies. I mean, SERIOUSLY! A dark, shadowy and kreepy master of nightmares shows up to PROTECT A GARDEN, a mutated alien virus shuts down a whole city to SEARCH FOR HIS DEAR FRIEND and a genmutated clone with motherf@cking psychic abilities realises he did bad and now wants to LIVE PEACEFULLY WITH HIS FRIENDS! WHAT THE HELL?!? Why can't they just be cool villains?Now that that's out of my mind I find the time for a big YAAAAAYYYYYYY for my second comic. And once again I drew legendary Pokémon. Do you think I might be addicted or something like that?
Anyway, I didn't color it this time cuz it took me long enough to make this so I hope you ENJOY!
By the way, you might not get the joke when you haven't watched the Pokémon Movies. If that's so, please do. They're awesome!
Mewtwo, Deoxys and Darkrai do not belong to me...sadly.

Ahem. To quote Jessie's Ekans: "Pokemon not bad guys! Pokemon just bad because master bad."
It's a cartoon set in a utopia where even the primary antagonists (Team Rocket) are technically heroes, given how many lives they've saved.
Also, Mewtwo's heel-turn was one of the most touching moments I had ever saw (before Inside Out came out)

Hilarious! Your comics are fantastic. Darkrai did good. And now that I think about it those were the plots of those movies. However Mewtwo turned around to the good side in the most epic way possible. With an epigram: "I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It's what you do with the gift of life that determine who you are."

But that's what makes them so interesting. Evil looking creatures instantly being written off as evil is pretty childish and it actually adds to the characters when you don't make them just bad guys.
Mewtwo's psychological torture over the nature of his birth and the revelation that "It is what one does with the gift of life that matters' is actually very deep and adult, and it makes him an almost Shakespearean tragedy in a way.
People instantly labeling Darkrai for his appearance as "evil" is great commentary on social prejudice and even racism. Plus his calm, protective nature does give the sense of a "gentle giant" personality, which is much better then "Hurr Durr I'm black and red so I'm evil!"
Dexoys I can't say much about because honestly he doesn't really look evil

Mewtwo went berserk because his master abused him and did not teach him love. Ash did.
Darkrai was pinned by that asshole Baron Lickilicky...er, Alberto, and wasn't really a villain.
Deoxys was the imaginary friend of a poor scared kid, and Rayquaza wanted to kill it for invading its home, the ozone. He was the REAL bad guy.
That should explain it pretty well.

Well mewtwo wasn't supposed to be a villain the english version of the first movie they made him into a cliche villain and you have 4kids to blame since they mostly ruin a lot of Japanese shows

I recognized Deoxys' speech as being written in the "Wingdings" font so I tried writing typing it down and then converting it into Times New Roman.
