If anyone can explain this to me please do because it makes absolutely no sense! Then again, catching monsters in tiny capsules doesn't make much sense either, so maybe I shouldn't bother with logic too much.Anyway, I always found it funny that a Pokémon who clearly stands on the ground like Gengar can still have the ability Levitate while other Pokémon who are clearly hovering in midair like Magnezone still get their butts kicked by ground moves. So this idea came to my mind and I turned it into a comic.
This time I also put my name on it in case people start wildly reposting it. Which has happened to me a lot recently. But I suppose I should just see it as a special way to dignify my art.
I do not own Golem, Gengar or Magnezone. And if you don't get the joke....well, then the joke's on you.

Common misconception, the Magnemite line does not float in the air. They retract their screws and roll. (Magnezone uses its mini-drones as wheels.) Well, the only explanation I can think of.

I never understood that either. Ground attacks never work on Ghost types. Whether they're levitating or not.
For myself, to make any sense of this example, I just think that debris from the ground flies up and hits Magnezone. Only logical explanation I can think of.

Actually Ghost is neutral from Ground, try using Earthquake against Dusknoir or Golurk for instance

Magnezone:
Weak to: Fighting, Ground, Fire
Immune to: Poison (and Ground if magnet rise is used)
Resistant to: Normal, Flying, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Ice, Dragon, Steel, Grass, Electric, Psychic, Dark
Normal Damaged by: Water
...
I think they were trying to keep it from being too overpowered (although it should have the ability levitate)

To be honest, Fighting and Fire are both crippling weaknesses that would prevent Levitate Magnezone from being OP.
In fact, i think Magnezone benefits best from its Magnet Pull ability

Magnezone does learn Magnet Rise though. But he should still have levitate from the start.

Gengar can Levitate because he is a shadow, which stretches from the ground up or along the walls.
Magnezone gained the two abilities of its prevolutions. Why they didn't make his DREAM WORLD ability Levitate is beyond me tho...>_>#
