Description Sequel to Workplace Hazard  and Workplace Benefits , and the final part of this Zane trilogy!
Zane at his house, getting ready to start with his new PC build using parts that he had collected over the course of his work. He's dressed all cozy and comfy in his own home, not even bothering to put on any pants.

Zane belongs to Derrysome !
The art of Lane in the background also by Derrysome.

"Let's see..." Zane mumbled, looking over the big brown box of computer before him. His belly bulged down in front of him as he leaned over, making the Zangoose blush a bit. It had been a week since the incident at the Unex Labs and he swore that he had held onto some of the belly fat he had suddenly gained. He tried to stay focused on the box though. He flipped the box open and stuck his hands inside, his tail flicking behind him as his big fluffy butt raised in the air.

His eyes slowly widened as he took inventory of the parts within. A brand new GPU, an MPU, a top-of-the-line PCX Processors, hard discs of various sizes, and, at the bottom of the box, two documents. One was a proper envelope with a nice seal on it, and the other was a haphazardly folded piece of paper that was a little beat up from the trip inside of the box.

"I definitely don't remember putting all of this stuff in here..." Zane muttered.

Carefully sifting through everything inside, Zane removed the two documents. He immediately tore open the envelope and removed the paper inside. Standing up straight, he put the scrawled up piece of paper on his desk before looking down at the paper that had been in the envelope. It was a very nice and expensive looking piece of stationary. Unfolding it, Zane squinted his eyes to read it.

A gift for my favorite IT pro! I don't understand computers at all, but I'm very glad that you do. Hope to keep on working with you.
            - Static Wyre

Zane gasped once he was done reading the short note. The CEO of Wyre had written him a personal note? And she had given him a gift on top of that!? Glancing up to the picture of his favorite model that Wyre employed, Lane, and then back to the note, his eyes sparkled with possibilities.

"Lane would definitely be impressed by this..." he thought to himself, clutching the note close to his chest and smiling. "That's amazing... wow." Slowly placing the note down on top of the envelope it came in, Zane glanced over to the other note. Slowly picking the other note up, he tried his best to decipher the hastily written script inside.

It's not often that I meet someone who understands my hobbies, so I donated a bunch of my old parts! Used, but they should still create a very powerful system. I hope to work with you again in the future, Zane White.
            - Dr. Alphys McGuigan

Zane smiled as he read the note over, but then he noticed a small extra bit of writing that he almost missed.

PS, You looked good nice and round!
            - Pepper Vulpane, guardian extraordinaire

Zane frowned. "Well... at least I made a good impression on guardian Pepper. Even if she did inconvenience me for nearly a week." Even as he said it, a blush came to his face. It was kind of amazing how many girls seemed to be doing nice things for him. Static, Alphys, Pepper. Even if it was nice words and gifts, it was more than a little exciting.

Glancing up to the poster of Lane, he gulped. Maybe... if his luck was working for him with these girls, it would finally work with her when he finally met her and had the nerve to say something. Someday he would.

Zane looked back to the box of computer parts, still holding Alphys' note. "Someday..." he whispered, setting the note down and going back to work.
