Just a closer view of the Zeta. That damn left hand beam cannon is so long it's hard to get a nice view of all the frontal details. Had a hell of a time hand painting the pinkish-purple striping colors so I have to show them off a bit better.Something I hated in the original HGUC Zeta kit that doesn't improve here is the way it holds its weapons (minus the saber). The damn things are too long and the arms just don't have the room to give it to fit straight on, hence why all the weapons are twisted at their sides. I could've displayed the cannon with both arms to counter, but again, plastic cracking is nothing to fuck around with.
Also, this whole kit is cannibalized from my old Zeta. Go take a look to see how far it's come.

Thanks. Actually, the wash is being bleached by the light in this picture. Without the light being so intense, there's a lot of cool gray-blue bleeding all over it. Wish that could've shown through.

I'd try him out. He can custom make any decal set as long as you have a scan. I've used his waterslides on a few of my kits (Gaplant being one of them). They're very thin but do work nicely. Otherwise I know Bandai did do a limited production run of the necessary waterslides but I bet it will be hell to find them now.

Damn...this is nice. Kind of looks like it should be hanging out in FEAR. I really love the Zeta Plus special colour scheme on this, looks out of this world ^^.
It seems a shame these kind of designs are relegated to B-Club status instead of becoming proper HGs. This is easily far more interesting as a design than other models that've gotten releases...I mean, the 00 Raiser is a good example...I mean, the horse has been dead so long that there's been three cycles of decomposition, and they're STILL flogging it with that one. I mean was ANYBODY really thinking 'god, I really wish that Bandai would bring out the 00 Raiser Condenser Type, you know, that one that's EXACTLY THE SAME as all my other ones but has Condensers instead of GN Drives connecting the Raiser...' I know I wasn't.

Yeah, it does suck to pay blood for limited resin releases like this. The weight of the resin is raising havoc on the arms of the kit. Lucky the legs are made of sturdier stuff, but with one foot starting to give it's only a matter of time.
