Description Okay, well, I tried with the banister above. I actually think it's salvageable, it depends on how patient I am, though, because it'll take a bit of time. So, in this render, obviously, I added the centre support column for the balustrade, as well, as the upper railing. Somewhat less noticeably, I added certain details to the upper and lower pillars, and changed the mesh on the top one. Next image will probably just be smoothing & beveling the staircase itself, to finalize that mesh before I move on. After that, I'll move on to the actual ironwork in the balustrades, the details and elaborate carvings inside the woodwork, floor and walls, the 'Honour and Glory Crowning Time' clock, and eventually the cherubs and angels that dotted each landing of the Grand Staircase.

The RMS Titanic was a luxury liner built in 1911 by the Harland and Wolff shipyards for the White Star Line. When she was launched on 31 March 1911, there was a significant turn out, though noticeably less than had shown up for her older sister, Olympic's launch. She set sail on 10 April 1912 with little fanfare. Four days into her voyage, she had a fatal collision with an iceberg, taking an estimated 1,500 lives. Because of this disaster, her story is known worldwide, and we remember her even today. This model is an attempt to faithfully recreate her using the Blender software and eventually Unity.
