i didnt want the model to be too obvious, the shot was more about the room than anything else 
but your comments are very much appreciated, the centering does bug me too but if you look at the window its not central in the wall so when i crop some off the right side it still looks wonky

It's a lovely piece of work Donna. The only think I would say is that I think it could have been better as a close up on Rachi rather than as a whole wide spread as it is.
The green in the plants in the foreground gives a nice lively feel to it despite the dead and decaying atmosphere. A nice message I feel at any time.

Well I have a massive and important assignment to do that I'm having trouble starting.
Added to which I'm feeling awful.
Events wise I have a training course on Saturday morning and Rachi and Carls party in the afternoon.
In short, too much and not enough time. Not coping well hence I doubt I'll survive.

it sounds like a bitch of a weekend, but you'll get through it. if i can get through weddings, parties, appointments and editing all while being woken up 3 times a night by a teething baby you can manage that
take a deep breath and try to chill, as hard as that might be, panicking is counter-productive. i'm old, i know these things

Im going to try and relax, I will take a nice leisurely pace with the work tonight.
Right now Im coughing, theres a taste of blood and I've got to go look professional for industrial guests.

Thanks Donna. I'm alas one of those silly people that doesn't believe in bothering the Doctor unless its urgent so I won't.
Though I should be fine after Tuesday, after all the deadline is then so all free and easy until the exam then.

The location is really nice! It fits perfectly to the photograph.
I love the backlight, it works well, and really enhances the a little surreal feeling of the image.
I like the clothes of the model, and her pose is nice too, but I would have preferred to see a little more of her face! Maybe if she would have stood a little more to the right side, and just looked a little bit less outside, it would have helped that fact!
I really like the symmetry of the shot, sadly the lines are a little tilted which doesn't work too well I think.
But overall nice feel here!

Love this! Am I the only one to mention its humour? I think the juxtapositioning of the immaculate model and her awful surroundings could be perceived as amusing? Or am I just weird!!! LOL

where is this and how did you find it and get access?
Its a really good image I like the composition very much. This image would propably be complimented by doing a mount with lots of little images around it that have been taken from the original but made bigger, if you know what I mean lol

loved the curvy posture of the model against the symmetrical windows, a very wise juxtapositioning. My negative critique will be the outfit of the model. I can understand sexy, but you could have made a more worn-out to fit the place. Anyway that is my opinion. Still a favorite
